Dublin String Quartet, one of Ireland’s finest string quartets are delighted to be part of this inaugral film festival here in Ashbourne! Equally at home on the stage and performing at events across Ireland, the quartet also love to record music for composers/artists.

The members of our quartet perform regularly with RTE National Symphony Orchestra, RTE Concert Orchestra and the Orchestra of the National Concert Hall, and with distinguished artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Hayley Westenra and Maxim Venergov.

Our musicians have performed at events such as the MTV European Music Awards, Meteor Awards, and the Late Late Show performing with artists such as Kanye West, The Coronas, Jamiroquai, Colm Wilkinson, Declan O’Rourke, Kodaline,Richard Clayderman, Julie Feeney, Bell X1, Il Divo, Imelda May, Sinead O’Connor and Aslan.
