Brighid Breathnach – Television Producer

Brighid Breathnach is from the Conamara Gaeltacht of Indreabhán in County Galway. She  has a BA (Gaeilge, Politics and History) from UCD and a H.Dip/Postgraduate in Communications from NUI Galway. She also recently completed a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing with UCD.

Brighid started her career in broadcasting as a Clár Reachtaire (presenter/producer) with RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta where she worked as TV producer/director across factual, lifestyle and entertainment genres, predominantly for RTÉ, TV3 and TG4. During that time she produced shows such as ‘Operation Transformation’ (RTÉ)‘ The Great Irish Bake-Off’(TV3) and ‘Underdogs’ (TG4)

Brighid is now working as a Commissioning Editor for TG4 and is Executive Producer on a varied slate of multi-platform programming on behalf of the broadcaster.
